Why use an eSIM at Baiyun?
Most people landing at CAN are heading on: a hotel in Guangzhou, or onward to Shenzhen. With data you can message your hotel, open Didi, and follow a map without hunting for Wi-Fi.

How do I get from the airport into town?
CAN serves Guangzhou and sits outside the city center. Didi is the usual ride-hailing app. Taxis and hotel transfers are other options. This guide does not quote fares.
Shenzhen has its own airport. If your ticket code is not CAN, do not use this guide for the arrival. The same eSIM still works in both cities once you are on China Mobile.
